# CREATING A MOODBOARD

Exercise

Step 1: Take the words, ideas, emotions, and imagery you discovered during the music meditation.

Step 2: Open Pinterest or Google Images (or another visual app that lets you discover images).

Step 3: Type your words into the search engine. Collect images that genuinely resonate with your music: photography, artwork, fashion, architecture, landscapes, objects, typography, textures, colors, film stills, or anything else that feels relevant.

Step 4: As your collection develops, look at it as one body of work.

Ask yourself:

  • What keeps appearing?

  • Which colors are becoming dominant?

  • What types of environments keep returning?

  • Are there recurring materials, objects, or symbols?

  • What kind of photography or artwork feels natural?

  • What overall atmosphere is emerging?

Step 5: Reduce your collection to the strongest 40 pictures and create a moodboard with them. Try to identify the patterns that connect them.
